Daedalus Concrete Countertops was named for the artist and craftsman to the gods of Greek mythology– best known for the feathered wings he designed and built for himself and his son Icarus to escape imprisonment. As the story goes, Daedalus warns his son to find the middle path, or Golden Middle Way, during their flight to avoid melting his wax wings in the sun or soaking the feathers in the spray of the sea.
